天津大學(xué)—新加坡國立大學(xué)福州聯(lián)合學(xué)院(簡稱“聯(lián)合學(xué)院”)由天津大學(xué)、新加坡國立大學(xué)、福建省政府、和福州市政府四方共同建設(shè)。聯(lián)合學(xué)院融合兩校教學(xué)科研優(yōu)勢,致力于建設(shè)成為一所集產(chǎn)學(xué)研用相結(jié)合的世界一流中外合作辦學(xué)學(xué)院,面向未來培養(yǎng)頂尖人才,同時聚焦柔性電子與新興光電子、先進化學(xué)制造、能源材料和催化等領(lǐng)域開展戰(zhàn)略性、創(chuàng)新性科學(xué)研究,服務(wù)國家戰(zhàn)略需求和地方經(jīng)濟發(fā)展。聯(lián)合學(xué)院下設(shè)三個研究中心,分別為柔性與新興光電子中心、先進制造中心、能源材料和催化中心。聯(lián)合學(xué)院現(xiàn)有PI 20位(10位來自天津大學(xué)、10位來自新加坡國立大學(xué)),其他教輔人員7人,博士后研究人員26人,博士研究生169人。

崗位職責(zé)
1.領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團隊在應(yīng)用物理學(xué)和計算物理學(xué)方面進行有競爭力的研究和技術(shù)轉(zhuǎn)化,以滿足福建省社會經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的需求。研究領(lǐng)域包括但不限于能源研究、創(chuàng)新固體設(shè)備、生物啟發(fā)材料等;
2.確保能夠申獲國家和省部級科研項目,以維持高質(zhì)量的研究;
3.通過發(fā)表論文和參加學(xué)術(shù)活動提高聯(lián)合學(xué)院的國際知名度和聲譽;
4.負責(zé)指導(dǎo)課題組副教授、助理教授、博士后和研究生等開展相關(guān)研究和開發(fā)工作;
5.負責(zé)碩士研究生的指導(dǎo)和授課;
6.與天津大學(xué)物理系和新加坡國立大學(xué)物理系開展富有成效的合作。
資格條件
1.具有物理學(xué)或密切相關(guān)學(xué)科的博士學(xué)位;
2.在領(lǐng)先的研究型大學(xué)、研究機構(gòu)或企業(yè)有至少3年的博士后研究經(jīng)驗;
3.所有職業(yè)階段的候選人都可以申請,但優(yōu)先考慮處于職業(yè)早期和中期的申請人。
聘期及待遇
1.薪酬:面議(全口徑薪酬每年70萬元人民幣起)
2.科研保障:
(1)聯(lián)合學(xué)院為每個PI團隊提供不少于300平米的專屬實驗室和公共空間。
(2)科研團隊成立后,每個團隊前五年的科研啟動資金支持最高可達1,000萬元,用于研究直接相關(guān)的核心研究設(shè)施、消耗品、測試費用、小型設(shè)備、差旅費用等;
(3)聯(lián)合學(xué)院配備高端分析和實驗設(shè)備的公共分析中心,總價值約1.5億元;
(4)聯(lián)合學(xué)院設(shè)立戰(zhàn)略性科研經(jīng)費,五年總計最高額度6,000萬元。
3.團隊支持:每個團隊提供 2-3名助理/副教授指標(biāo)、2-3名博士后指標(biāo)以及每年2名博士生指標(biāo)。
4.安家費:享受福建省、福州市高層次人才地方支持政策。
5.其他待遇:協(xié)助解決子女入學(xué)問題。

Principal Investigator (PI) In Physics TJU-NUS Joint Research Institute in Fuzhou
Profile of the Joint Institute
Tianjin University (TJU), National University of Singapore (NUS), the Education Department of Fujian Province and the People's Government of Fuzhou City signed the Agreement for the Establishment of Tianjin University-National University of Singapore Joint Institute in Fuzhou (hereinafter referred to as Joint Institute) on 1 December 2018. Drawing on the strengths and resources of two elite universities, the Joint Institute aspires to be a world-class joint venture driving cutting-edge research, innovation and technology transfer, as well as the cultivation of future-ready top talents. Aligned with China’s national development strategies and the socio-economic development requirements, the Institute has strategic research focus on different areas spread out in three research centers, the Flexible and Emerging Optoelectronics Center, the Advanced Manufacturing Center, and the Energy Materials and Catalysis Center. The Joint Institute currently has 20 PIs (10 from Tianjin University and 10 from National University of Singapore), 7 research scientists, 26 post-doctoral researchers, and 169 doctoral students.

Job Responsibilities
? Leading a team to conduct competitive research and technological translation in applied physics and computational physics to meet the demands of socioeconomic development of Fujian province, China. Research strategic areas include, but not limited to, energy research, innovative solid-state devices, bio-inspired materials, etc;
? Securing national and provincial research grants to sustain quality research;
? Increasing the international visibility and reputation of the Joint Institute through publications and other academic activities;
? Supervising associate/assistant professors, post-doctors and doctoral candidates in the research team;
? Teaching and supervising Master program students;
? Developing fruitful collaborations with the Physics Departments of Tianjin University (TJU) and the Physics Department of the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Qualifications
? PhD degree in Physics or a closely related discipline;
? At least 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in leading research universities, research institutions or enterprises;
? Candidates at all career stages can be considered, but preference is given to applicants at their early and mid-career stages.
Remuneration Package
Salary: Negotiable (starting from CNY 700K per year all inclusive)
Research start-up package:
? Research space of no less than 300 square meters for group laboratory and shared common research space;
? Start-up fund of up to CNY 10,000,000 within the first five years for the procurement of related core research facilities, consumables, and expenses for testing, small-sized equipment, travel, etc.;
? Research space of no less than 300 square meters for setting up own laboratory and shared common research space;
? Access to a public analysis center equipped with high-end analysis and experimental equipment with a total value of about CNY 150,000,000;
? Access to part of a strategic research fund of CNY 60,000,000 for five years.
Team Support: Positions for 2-3 research scientists (equivalent to Assistant / Associate Professors) and 2-3 postdoctoral research fellows will be funded by the joint institute for the PI to build the research team. In addition, 2 PhD positions each year will be available for each PI.
Settlement Package: The provincial talent recruitment package offered by Fujian Province and Fuzhou City applies.
Other Supporting Policies: Children’s enrollment in local schools will be arranged.
